Join Loops & Lines: Saturday Stitch Club for one of our Seasonal Crochet Workshops. Designed specifically for parent and teen duos to create connection in a screen free, cosy and seasonal space. We run 4 courses across the year in line with the seasons.

Loops & Lore Autumn Worksop: The Autumn Harvest Pumpkin

Step out of the cold and into the warmth of the studio this autumn. Connect over yarn and stitch-craft, with a sprinkle of seasonal folklore! For our inaugural workshop we have created this special three-part workshop for parent and teenager duos. Join us this autumn to slow down, enjoy the changing season and weave a bit of woodland folklore into into a cute autumn masterpiece.

Together, you will learn crochet techniques to craft a textured, Autumn Harvest Pumpkin – perfect to add to your autumnal decorations year after year.

The Seasonal Journey
  • Master the foundation stitch of chaining and the basics of the half-double crochet through clear written steps and direct guidance.
  • Weave organic textures that mimic the wild brambles of the October woods using your newly learnt stitches and the ‘back loop only’ technique.
  • Enjoy a little seasonal folklore from the autumn season and learn how to create a pumpkin from your beautiful crochet.
The Details

Our group meets for three autumnal sessions at Todwick Church Hall. The spacing between dates allows you time to practice your newly learnt stitches at home.

  • Session Time: 10.15am – 11.45am each day
  • Session One: Saturday, 24th October 2026
  • Session Two: Saturday, 31st October 2026
  • Session Three: Saturday 14th November 2026
  • Tuition: £90 per Duo (covers one parent and one teenager)
  • All Materials Provided: Good quality yarn in a rich autumnal shade, crochet hook, darning needle, stitch markers and a written pattern guide.
  • Seasonal Refreshments: Warm up with spiced apple & cinnamon tea, rich hot chocolate, spiced cinnamon biscuits and a slice of delicious autumnal cake.
  • Group Size: Strictly limited to six duos to preserve a quiet, cosy and attentive learning space.

  • Curious Beginners: No prior crochet experience is needed; we guide you from the very first slip knot.
  • Cosy Souls: Any parent & teen duo wishing to celebrate the turning of the year through slow, intentional crafts.
How to Join Our Autumn Workshop

Places are strictly limited to six duos tickets.

Tickets are now live and are purchasable via secure bank transfer. Simply fill in the form below, and add the following information to the comment or message section:

  • A mobile number
  • How many tickets you wish to purchase (please note tickets are sold in pairs, one adult and one teen)
  • Age of Teen
  • Any dietary requirements

Cancellation & Workshop Policy

Because our workshops are intentionally small (only 6 pairs), every spot is precious. We have crafted a policy that respects both our studio preparation and your family needs:

  • Full Refunds: Available up to 14 days before our first gathering (by 10th October for the Autumn Workshop).
  • Late Cancellations: If you cancel with less than 14 days’ notice, a refund cannot be issued unless we can fill your spot from the waiting list.
  • Emergency Absence: If illness strikes unexpectedly during the term, your premium yarn kit and written guide will be held for you to collect so you can still finish your project at home.
